Adeela Sharif Antunes is a script consultant and founder of Scriptsmith Limited.  She began her career at Intermedia Films, in distribution and script development, working on titles including Sliding Doors, The Quiet American, Hilary and Jackie, Iris and The Wedding Planner.  She later joined Icon Entertainment International’s legal and business affairs, working on The Passion of the Christ, Apocolypto, Whalerider and Eagle vs Shark.  Throughout her career, she has worked as a script editor, advising, consulting and speaking on character and narrative.  With training from the Binger Filmlab and Sources2, she designs, delivers and leads bespoke courses and workshops on all aspects of film production with a keen focus on screenwriting and script development.

Simone Ling is an independent producer and story consultant working within both the Hollywood studio system and indie film arena. Clients include Universal Pictures and the Sundance Instituteʼs Labs for Screenwriters, Directors, and Episodic Story. Additionally, she spearheads outreach for the Instituteʼs Asian American Fellowship. Feature producing credits include Aurora Guerreroʼs coming-of-age directorial debut Mosquita Y Mari, an Indie Spirit Award nominee, and Anahita Ghazvinizadehʼs They that premiered at Cannes Film Festival. A dual US/UK citizen, Simone is a member of MPEG/IATSE and BAFTA. She sits on the BAFTA/LA Student Shorts jury and the New Talent Committee. Adjunct Faculty at the American Film Institute, Simone holds a Masters degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford, and, as a Fulbright Scholar, earned a Masters in Media Studies/Journalism from Stanford University.
